The Future of Rural

The debate on the future of Rural goes on.

A few short years ago the debate often centred about how rural areas were lagging behind urban areas. How the Rising Tide was not lifting all boats! Now that the term "rising tide' has been replaced with the term 'sinking ship'. Where does that leave rural areas?

In times of plenty rural transport never had an excess of funding in recession we are operating on the minimum. Last year we made a dvd of our project which is Flexibus, a rural transport project in Navan in Co. Meath. We had a transition year student working in the office for 2 weeks when the dvd arrived. She said put it on youtube we said What??? so she did.
