Thanks Durrow Area Tourism for A great Day
Thanks for organising the fieldtrip which was indeed a great day. I would like to thank Durrow area Tourism for their great welcome and hospitality on the day.
It’s good to see the Fitzpatrick’s are still strong in the area.
I do feel more fieldtrips should be organised as they give an insight into what other groups are doing and how we can help and learn from each other as I feel the RSA should support groups. This would be opposed to working in isolation of each other.
Westmeath has a very successful walking group which I know would love to liaise with Durrow Tourism.

To further promote Durrow and its attractions more inclusion in visitor guides such as Mid Ireland Visitors Guide 2010 which includes five counties in the midlands. This was funded by the local Leader (RD) programs in conjunction with Failte Ireland. This could be of great benefit to people visiting the area.
Also could you forward me a contact name for the museum of fishing and shooting? Have had some interest in it from this area.
