Location: Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan
Duration of contracts: initially to December 2010 with possible extension to September 2012 (subject to funding).
Rural Community Network is Northern Ireland’s leading regional rural voluntary organisation assisting rural communities to address issues of poverty, social exclusion, inequality and discrimination through a community development methodology. This regional Peace III programme will see dedicated peace-building and anti-racism work carried out with local communities within the six counties of Northern Ireland and the six Border counties of Ireland.
Working with the Regional Project Co-ordinator, the Assistant Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the programme in the Border counties.
The Administrative Officer will be responsible for the day to day administration functions of the Programme in the Border Counties of Ireland.
