Welcome to the South Laois Tourism Website. South Laois/North Kilkenny is home to the undiscovered Ireland. South Laois Tourism was formed for the purpose of the promotion of tourism in areas of South Laois such as Attanagh, Ballinakill, Ballacolla, Clough, Cullahill and Durrow along with Ballyouskill, Ballyraggett, Gathabaun and Lisdowney among others in North Kilkenny.

The Cullahill/Guathabaun area is one of the undiscovered scenic areas in the country. The view from the Failte Ireland Approved Cullahill Mountain Walk and Gathabaun Loop is somethng to behold as seven counties can be viewed from this area. This area is also home to the McGiolla Phadraig Way Walk. Walkers can also avail of the Leafy Loop Walk which straddles Dunmore Wood and Bishops Wood (home to the alluvial wetlands). The walks at Heywood Gardens and the Mass Lough in Ballinakill area are also tourism treasures.
